Drug Abuse: Drug Abuse Facts

Question: Who do atheists rank on people that have overcome drug abuse by the cross of christ?

How many born again atheists are there? None. Why do athiests support homosexuality as is inferred in Romans 1. Because it is true. Why do atheists flatter themselves and attack everybody else? Beacuse their selfish and mean and they need to love. Why are they so into their rights at the expense of everybody else? Do they know that they can find God if they seek Him in earnest? But why do atheists rank on thsoe that come out of drug addiction by the power of God? Isn't that a miracle?

Those people are mean. I don't see why anyone would rag on another person for overcoming addiction; no matter how they did it.

Thanks for lumping us all together. That's a wise decision. To answer your questions, the "Cross of Christ " *never* helped anyone overcome drug addiction. People overcome drug addictions by their own determination and most likely the help of trained medical professionals. The equation works just fine without Jesus.

A friend of my overcame ice because he was locked in a padded room for over a year. And by the way, he WAS a born again Christian at the time.

Why have Christians stacked people to their own beliefs? Atheist aren't selfish, they do love. Have you actually met an Atheist? You wouldn't know it until they told you. Why do Christians only accept one idea and spur others? Can't people make their own choices as long as they don't interfere with the choices of others?

Born again is a christian term with all that dunking in the river crap. If you become an atheist from a religion, i assume you don't go through any symbolical hoo ha, it just happens. Miracles are in the minds of the weak and the truly devoted who don't question outside the box. Bleeding statues, images on toast, have logical explanations, but religious people only see 'god'. The whole seeking, researching things has been done, and it was done years ago, never again. Why do we 'rank' on those who come out of drug addiction through god? Because this is a good way for churches to recruit. Instead of rehab, counselling, family support, the answer through the church is to change a weak, rock bottom person and bring them up through faith, and make them believe only through god can they survive. Once they are healed of their addiction, they have another lost soul who will walk through this earth trying to convert others, and teach them that addictions and problems cannot be solved through logic, but through the security blanket of 'faith'.

Reliance upon external forces to change internal behaviors is illogical. If it works for you then use it... but I stopped my "bad behaviors " all by myself.

Addictive personalities needs something to be addicted to. some people dumped drugs and became addicted to religion. that's why it's so common. get over yourself.
