Question: How does teen drug abuse affect society?

- more violence - assuming they drop out of school/ dont reach their potential because of drugs, a less educated society - increase in diseases (such as AIDS) from shared needles - increase in mental illness, such as schizophrenia, brought on my drugs... also, on the other side, you could say the bad side effects of drugs are over expemplified, and cigarettes and alcohol kill more people each year, and are legal. Drinking also causes similar problems, such as violence, mental illness, ect. its good to have both sides in an essay. hope this helps
