Numbers 6:3 He shall separate himself from wine and strong drink, and shall drink no vinegar of wine, or vinegar of strong drink, neither shall he drink any liquor of grapes, nor eat moist grapes, or dried. They that tarry long at the wine; they that go to seek mixed wine. Isaiah 5:22 Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink Eph.5:18 "And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess. "

How many do you want, I have had this conversation with a friend that smoked a lot of pot and he was forever saying that there was nothing in the bible to cover this. Eventually I was able to come back with 'have no other idols before me', this covers so many things, an idol is anything that we are obsessed with or cannot let go of, money, drugs, alcohol, working, house cleaning, food etc etc. Here are a few verses that cover this: "You shall have no other gods before Me. " Exodus 20:3 "....these men have set up their idols in their hearts, and put before them that which causes them to stumble into iniquity. Should I let Myself be inquired of at all by them? " Ezekiel 14:3 "... their gods shall be a snare to you. " Judges 2:3 "you cried out to Me, and I delivered you from their hand. Yet you have forsaken Me and served other gods. Therefore I will deliver you no more. Go and cry out to the gods which you have chosen; let them deliver you in your time of distress. " Judges 10:12-14 And as mentioned in the blog before me, your body is temple. This also covers so many things.
