Question: If mj really did die of drugs would that spark a more harsh look at drug abuse...?

I mean like it first it was Heath Ledger *well not the first i just can't think of anyone else at the moment so don't say anything mean >. <* now MJ. If he did die because of those drugs would people start taking drug abuse more seriously...? And no i'm not saying MJ or Heath Ledger abused drugs or anything !!!! I'm just saying maybe against huge over dose on drugs :O if tht makes sense :P. So what do u think ?

Probably not, you only get a severe backlash if the person died of an illegal drug overdose, when it's prescription drugs it gets a nominal amount of lip service before being quickly swept under the rug.

MJ used drugs a bit to much. People who use drugs aren't going to care if MJ killed himself with drugs as long as their supply lasts. MJ was begging people to give him drugs and they did!!! Oppps to many people gave him his drugs because he was so popular.

You think drug addicts would really care about the latest celebs who took things a bit too far? I don't reckon most of them would give a f00k. People who are addicted to class A's aren't usually thinking about Jacko, Ledger or anyone else.

First they took combination's of drugs that made them die. It's not that they over dosed... What happens is when people mix antidepressants with other drugs that raise serotonin levels what results is what's called serotonin syndrome. Too much serotonin is flooded in the brain and you then die. What people should learn from this is that mixing of certain drugs can be lethal. Many don't know and don't think that it could possibly happen to them.
