Ignorance is everywhere and somepeople have it to their necks. There are the realities of good and bad-poison and nectar. The lord give man fredom of will to make his own choices. There are evil forces competing for the soul of man.It is his love of goodness and god which are needed to free him from any forms of slavery.

Some religions support drug abuse. They say it enhances something along the lines of spiritual experiences.

Drugs have been used in vision quests in Many religions. Dating back thousands of years pre-christian religions are full of it in the west we made alcohol in the east the made tea. That is simplifying it a bit, Water has not always been the clear liquid some of us get from our taps. so Boiling was used to purify it, then adding other things for taste. We have chemical receptors in our brains that only respond to certain drugs. This can only mean our ancestors have evolved taking these drugs for millions of years.

The great thing about religion is that it's so very flexible. I'm an atheist but I'll give it a go. Drugs were put here by the devil to test our strength and to lead us towards sin. For only those who are truly strong are able to resist such temptations and be received into heaven. They are the modern day apple (though some Christians think the Adam and Eve tale isn't true so I'll let them provide another alternative).

Are you serious.. if you look at things that way then what chance does religion have in your eyes.. "none "..

Religious people probably beleive that we made all these harmful drugs when we were tempted by the devil. Most religions are against drug abuse and some find it a major sin because it distacts them from god, it's bad for their health and that it just leads to more problems.
