I mean like it first it was Heath Ledger well not the first i just can't think of anyone else at the moment so don't say anything mean > .< now MJ. If he did die because of those drugs would people start taking drug abuse more seriously...? okay my brother and i were debating about sympathy for people who abuse drugs, and i had sympathy and he didn't. my argument was that everybody makes bad decisions, and theirs happened to be addictive. he said its their fault, and its not a disease, its a choice. anyway, i was just all fueled up so i wanted to get your opinions. do you have any sympathy for drug abusers, and why or why not. thx for example, say a kid was kicked out of his house for what ever reason being gay, etc . hes on the street, and in order to subdue the pain, he tries drugs, alcohol, whatever and becomes addicted. he is now super stuck on the streets, he cant get a job because of his drug habbit, and any money he does make goes to supporting his habbit. its a cycle, and it just seems like it would be hard to get out of.thx blondiee goodluck with life < 3and your hairs amazingMelC, the situation doesn't matter, its the habit that matters.J.C. but isnt that how addiction starts? your a kid, your trying it, for whatever reason, and you dont realize the danger it has untill your so addicted that you cant stop. i sympathize for anyone who is " addicted to the drug" not addicted to the way pot makes you feel, because pot isnt addictive. although some think the addiction to pot is actually a true addiction to the feeling.so far blondiee is getting best answer. partly because her answer and her situation, partly because her hair is gorgeous.you can win best answer by starring my beautiful question < 3 and you have to have a good answer of course

What kind of mixed message is this government (UK) sending out on drug-abuse?
On one hand they have decided to move cannabis into the Class 2 category, which may make you think they are tightening up on drug abuse and on the other hand they will be giving 2 warnings before any action is taken against the users....which makes you think they taking a soft approach.Either make it a serious offence and heavily fine the first time perpetrators and jail persistent offenders or just leave things as they are....what's the point of this change?I can't agree with gobshite....The smoking ban was the best thing to happen in this country in a long time...We can now go for a pint or a meal without being subjected to noxious fumes.
