Question: Can god cure someone of alcoholism?

Alcoholics Anonomous does not cure alcoholics it only gives alcoholics a group with like problems that they can relate to and hope to stay sober. If God created the universe and everything else then I would think he can cure alcoholism but he will not. Everything each of us needs to make it a good life he already gave us. He expects us to find deep inside ourselves what he already provided.

God will help and has provided the means for help through the people at AA, doctors, psychiatrist and others. But one also has to be willing to help themselves too by accepting the help that is out there and work towards stopping the addiction that they started.
