Christians have no such problems, God is their drug.

Many Christians guess it's only a vice like smoking...and often ignore the problem.

With the power of the Holy Spirit. Luke 11:13 or 14 We have to ask God for His spirit and it is the same power that raised Jesus from the dead. It is the power over all flesh the bible says. So we just ask God for His spirit to come inside us and learn about the gift of tongues.

Christians give our sins and problems to the Lord. also, there are Christian-based alcoholism/ drug abuse programs out there. i do find it hard to believe there are many Christian alcoholics, unless they were alcoholic before they came to Christ and have yet to give it up. no matter, God forgives His children if we are truly sorry and repent.

Now Jesus loved a drink - "A glutton and a friend of barkeeps " - in good company then.

When a sinner gives their life over to the Lord, He frees us from all bondages. We become Christians. We then ask the Lord to help us flee temptations of the devil and it is a daily thing. You must pray and fast until you get the victory over it. Just never let it touch your lips again. Be sure you praise and thank God daily for your victory.

Apparently some of them are unaware that it is a disease with a genetic component, just like many other diseases. Saying that someone was only an alcoholic "before they came to christ " and implying that christians aren't alcoholics is like saying that it's hard to believe there are so many christians with Type 1 diabetes and they must have been that way BEFORE they came to christ. Anyone who knows anything about either disease knows that would be an incredibly ignorant statement to make. The "alcoholics should learn about the gift of speaking in tongues " thing up there - wow, just....wow. I don't even know where to start with that one. Hopefully they go to a European country where alcohol treatment is medical and they get one of those subcutaneous implants that stops them from drinking. Those are very cheap and very effective, so of course they're not available in the US. Where's the money to be made with cheap, effective immediately medications? Nowhere, that's where.

With God's love and guidance we can make ourselves holy. a friend in need is a friend indeed and God is our true friend.whenever we are in sorrow God is always here. When we are having good times we always forget about God,who gives us challenges to make us learning and happiness to make our life full of love.we should always be grateful.every time i am in despair and i pray, and i can feel that God is here telling me that as long as i wait and hope, i will see the bright light.I am really very grateful to God,who loves me unconditionally and is always here.I really love God,my devoted Father.Really thank you God.

By admitting their misdeeds. Turning to God for guidance and strength. Attempt to atone for their wrong doings without bringing harm to the people they hurt. Going with the resolve that from a weaken state they can find the power to transform their life into a positive direction. Great question !
