It's wrong. The parents and siblings could be arrested for what they are doing, especially if they are giving it to other teens. |

Wrong of course. anything that hastens one's death or encourages ill health is wrong. |

Its a very sad situation.....so many young people believe that drinking, taking drugs, sleeping around etc. are all part of 'growing up' how sad that they take the worst examples of adult behaviour and aspire to take part in it... alcohol is not a joke. it is a drug, and when abused, it does serious damage. maybe they wont see it now, but in a few years it will definitely come back to bite them. your mind keeps growing and developing until your early twentys, so alcohol abuse now will cause serious damage. you should try and encourage your friends to stop their bad habits. very difficult i know, i have gone through the same experience with people that i know, but their habits will only get worse as time goes on personally, i find it a huge put off when im at a party and someone is off their face, totally drunk. i would never put myself in a situation where i had no control being drunk is not 'cool'. its just plain stupid. especially if it causes you to have a hangover the next day. im not talking about being just a bit tipsy. it happens. i mean getting to the stage of having no self control, purposely drinking to be drunk. i see no point in it. its a lack of respect to themselves, and anyone else who has to see them drunk im glad that you asked this question. i hope that it will get people thinking... just remember, you always have a choice. your friends do to. make the right choice take care :-) |

Alcoholism at any age isn't a good thing. Drinking alcohol is different. I had a glass of sherry at Christmas dinner with my family when I was just 7 years old. It's legal if you drink at home. |

Your body and therefore your brain are not fully developed yet. Underage drinking can and does cause damage to you now and impair you in the future. |

Any alcoholism is wrong regardless of age. But as for teen drinking I thik its a life passage all teens, regardless of the state's laws go through. Hell, in Europe most countries allow 16 year olds to buy beer. As long as they are responsible, don't overdo it then I see no problem. |

No reason to condemn all teenage alcoholism just because your friends can't handle their liquor. |

Wrong because *most* teenagers do not know the meaning of the world responsibility. They have very little self-control and most of all - do not realise the consequences of what *might* happen. That is why alcoholism is wrong in teens. |
